Presidential Election

There is no doubt that this will be the most important election in decades, maybe ever in the history of the country and it will be a very close election. So it is very important that you get out and all your family, friends and vote. Every vote could make the difference in the future of this country. Please pass this on to every one you know.

Where we are now

For the last two years the Democrats have had majority control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate under the ultra liberal control of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi from San Francisco and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from Las Vegas.

Since they have taken over gas prices have gone to the highest they have ever been in this country. They have fought every chance to increase domestic production of oil and provide practical workable means of alternative energy.

They have been blaming President Bush for everything. Yet it is Congress that passes bills and writes them, not the President. They blame President Bush for our current economic problems but I have links to uTube with videos of the Democrats saying nothing was wrong with Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac while Senator McCain and President Bush warned they must be reformed or it would mean economic disaster which we now have. They will follow this section.

What we face

At best we face President McCain with a Democratic controlled congress.

At worst we face Senator Obama who in two years he has served has the most liberal record in the senate who makes the ultra liberal leaders of congress look like moderates. His becoming president and possibly a super Democrat majority in both houses of Congress will mean the Democrats can do ANY THING they want with out effective opposition from the Republicans. If that happens you can expect the following at minimum. These are the kinds of “CHANGE” Obama will give us.

Let the Republican’s tax cuts expire which will increase everyone’s taxes which is the last thing we need during this economic down turn.

They will increase taxes on everything including gas. They will forever ban using the resources God has blessed the United States with.

They will pull our troops out of Iraq before the country is stabilized which will then become a haven for Terrorists.

They will cut our military which President Clinton already weakened and make us weak and a target for terrorists.

Put in place liberal judges which will over turn the will of the people as they have in places like California and Massachusetts and given the homosexuals rights to marry. In the last 60 years liberal judges have taken away the right to pray in schools, in many places banned nativity scenes at Christmas. Who knows how they will further erode our first amendment rights to freely exercise our beliefs and our other freedoms.

Free speech? They will bring back the fairness act which will be the end of people bringing you the truth like Rush and Sean Hannity. Ever heard of political correctness? You haven’t seen anything yet if they control all three parts of the executive branch of government. We’ve already seen how the liberal media has tried to suppress people who tell the truth about Oboma.

You can pretty much kiss your second amendment rights to keep and bear Arms good by. You think Clinton was bad, you’ve not seen anything yet. Barack is planing to restore the Clinton gun ban and add more weapons to it, ban most hunting ammo. He thought there was nothing wrong with the DC gun ban which the Supreme court over turned and argued for keeping it. On October 13th Obomma was endorsed by the anti-gun Brady Campaign.

According to the NRA this is Barack Obama’s 10 Point Plan to “Change” The Second Amendment.

  1. Ban the use of firearms for home defense
  2. Pass Federal laws eliminating your Right-to-Carry
  3. Ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns
  4. Close down 90% of the gun shops in America
  5. Ban rifle ammunition commonly used for hunting and sport shooting
  6. Increase federal taxes on guns and ammunition by 500%
  7. Restore voting rights for five million criminals including those who have been convicted of using a gun to commit a violent crime.
  8. Expand the Clinton Semi-Auto ban to include millions more firearms
  9. Mandate a government-issued license purchase a firearm
  10. Appoint judges to the U.S. Supreme Court and Federal Judiciary who share his views on the Second Amendment.

They will give upwards of 12 million illegals amnesty and rights to vote, social security and medicare. Think this is far fetched? They have already tried to do these things and the Republicans stopped them.

Socialized medical care, you want to wait 6 months to have an operation? That is what happens in other countries that have it. There will be a shortage of Doctors because there will be no motivation for anyone to become a doctor. Our medical care is messed up Because Government already mettles with it. It sets the price for Medicare payments which are under the market cost so that cost is passed on to the rest of us in the form of increased prices. We also have increased prices because the Federal Government has mandated medical are for illegals and others who do not pay.

They will take us so far down the path of socialism (which has failed and bankrupted every country is has been tired) that it will be generations before we recover the country we grew up in if we ever can again. We are already bankrupt and indebted to other countries beyond our capacity to pay. When will they stop spending?!

The list is so long I don’t know if I can possibly remember it all to write it down. Most of this you probably have not heard because the liberal media is doing EVERY thing it can to get him elected. Something like 93% of the media admit to being Democrats, don’t expect them to tell you the facts or even the truth. Here is a quick look into 3 former Fannie Mae executives who have brought down Wall Street.

Franklin Raines was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae. Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae’s accounting activities. At the time of his departure The Wall Street Journal noted, ‘

Raines, who long defended the company’s accounting despite mounting evidence that it wasn’t proper, issued a statement late Tuesday conceding that ‘mistakes were made’ and saying he would assume responsibility as he had earlier promised. News reports indicate the company was under growing pressure from regulators to shake up its management in the wake of findings that the company’s books ran afoul of generally accepted accounting principles for four years.’ Fannie Mae had to reduce its surplus by $9 billion.

Raines left with a ‘golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits’. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the accounting scandal became clear. http://housingdoom.com/2006/12/18/fannie-charges/

. The Government noted, ‘The 101 charges reveal how the individuals improperly manipulated earnings to maximize their bonuses, while knowingly neglecting accounting systems and internal controls, misapplying over twenty accounting principles and misleading the regulator and the public.

The Notice explains how they submitted six years of misleading and inaccurate accounting statements and inaccurate capital reports that enabled them to grow Fannie Mae in an unsafe and unsound manner.’ These charges were made in 2006. The Court ordered Raines to return $50 Million Dollars he received in bonuses based on the miss-stated Fannie Mae pofits.

Tim Howard – Was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard ‘was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a ‘stable pattern of earnings’ at Fannie. In everyday English – he was cooking the books. The Government Investigation determined that, ‘Chief Financial Officer, Tim Howard, failed to provide adequate oversight to key control and reporting functions within Fannie Mae,’

On June 16, 2006, Rep. Richard Baker, R-La., asked the Justice Department to investigate his allegations that two former Fannie Mae executives lied to Congress in October 2004 when they denied manipulating the mortgage-finance giant’s income statement to achieve management pay bonuses.

Investigations by federal regulators and the company’s board of directors since concluded that management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard’s Golden Parachute was estimated at $20 Million!

Jim Johnson – A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. A look at the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight’s May 2006 report on mismanagement and corruption inside Fannie Mae, and you’ll see some interesting things about Johnson. Investigators found that Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson’s 1998 compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million and $7 million when it fact it
was $21 million.’ Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae. Johnson’s Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million.

The Sub – Prime disaster

If Obama gets elected and the socialist Democrats control both houses this country is doomed.. The Democrats are responsible for the current mess, not Bush other than he signed their bills instead of vetoing them. Barny Frank and Chris Dodd wrote the laws that “encouraged” banks and Fanny May and Freddie Mac to increase sub prime loans to people who could not afford houses. Those two government sponsored entities also gave large campaign contributions to the Democrats and gave several democrat congressmen including Frank and Dodd very low to no interest million dollar loans. Fudged their books so their CEO’s got huge bonuses, the chairmen James A. Johnson and Franklin D. Raines of Franny May got millions in illegal bonuses and now are on Obama’s advisory community and very likely will be given cabinet positions. Obama as a “community organizer” pressured banks to give sub prime loans to people who couldn’t afford to buy a house. You should look in to how Obama got his house and the Chicago politics that got him in to office in the first place.

It was the Clinton Administration, the Democrats, especially Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and Barack Obama’s own economic advisor, Frank Raines who are most responsible for this mess. All are Democrats.

The same people who caused this problem are now writing the bill to “fix it”… Speaker Pelosi was blaming Bush for this, but if you notice since the Democrats have taken control of Congress gas and about everything else has gone up, and the stock market has gone to hell. My 401K is now worth less than what I’ve put into it. She also said Bush had squandered the surplus from the Clinton years. The only reason there was a surplus was because the Republicans were elected to stop them from passing national health care and other stupid ideas. The surplus was a lie anyway we still had a deficit and the only spending Clinton cut was defence which with his other policies was directly the cause of 9/11. Which wiped out any “surplus” we had. The economy was going into a recession at the end of the Clinton years because of the large tax increases he instituted took some time to take effect. The Democrats at the time accused Bush when he was running for his first term of “talking down the economy”. They have done nothing but talk down the economy the entire time he has been in office. If Bush has any failings it is he has gone along with too much of the Democrats agenda. He let Ted Kennedy write the Education bill and then they blamed Bush for it’s failings.. No matter what Bush has done the Democrats and their friends in the liberal media have criticized it.
The reason we are loosing all our companies is because thanks to the Democrats we have the highest corporate tax rate of any industrial country in the world. We are one of the few countries that has a Capital Gains tax.
Our energy costs are going though the roof because the Democrats have stopped every effort to develop the resources God blessed this country with for us to use. We have gone from importing 40% of our oil to 60% of our oil. For all of their complaining you’d think we get all of it from the middle east. We actually get most of our imported oil from Canada and Mexico. Most of our current problems are directly related to our rising energy costs and the devaluating of the dollar because of our ever growing debt.
If you don’t believe what I’m saying you need to watch Glenn Beck on CNN, he’s LDS and tells it like it is. I’d also recommend listening to Sean Hannidy’s radio show and maybe Rush. Get an education on the issues and don’t listen to the BS in the news papers, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC ect..
We need to get back to the limited Constitution government we should have instead of the bloated vastly over grown increasingly socialist government we have now.
