By a resounding vote of 62 to 36 last week, the U.S. Senate has approved
an amendment, offered by Senator John Ensign of Nevada, to repeal the
D.C. gun ban.
Congratulations!
But the battle is not over.
This week, the House will take up the D.C. voting legislation. And
anti-gun Speaker Nancy Pelosi is angling to impose a “gag rule” on the
House, so that D.C. gets its unconstitutional representative, while
continuing its draconian anti-gun laws (like microstamping).
So here’s the deal: The House will be asked to consider a “rule” which
establishes the time for debate and provides for which amendments may be
considered — and which may not.
It is expected that the Pelosi rule will seek to deny the House any vote
on the D.C. gun ban and thereby strip the repeal of the ban from the
House bill.
So what we are asking you to do is to write and/or call your congressman
and demand that he oppose any rule that strips the D.C. gun ban repeal
from the D.C. voting bill.
Just to remind you of how draconian the D.C. gun law is:
Aside from being ineffectual with respect to stolen guns or crimes where

Just to remind you of how virulently anti-gun the D.C. gun law is:
Following the Supreme Court’s decision in Heller declaring the law to be
unconstitutional, D.C. made a few cosmetic changes which will, as a
practical matter, allow it to continue to deny its citizens the right to
keep and bear arms.
But, in addition, the City Council passed a whole series of new anti-gun
measures. These include a requirement that most guns used for
self-defense “microstamp” fired casings in two places with a “unique
serial number.”
Aside from being ineffectual with respect to stolen guns or crimes where
the brass has not been left behind, this microstamping provision is
intended to make guns so expensive that they won’t be available anywhere
— including my state.
I urge you, in the strongest terms, to oppose any rule that makes it

BELLEVUE, WA As a presidential candidate, Barack Obama deliberately and repeatedly lied to America’s 90 million gun owners across the country when he insisted that he would not try to take away anyone’s firearms, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said today.
CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, reacting to yesterday’s remarks by Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder that the president will seek to reinstate the ban on semi-automatic firearms, said Obama knew he was lying to the nation because his own website touted his plan to revive the gun ban and make it permanent.
We warned America that Obama’s support for the Second Amendment was empty rhetoric, he stated, and now Holder’s disclosure has confirmed it. Obama was lying, and now gun rights may be dying.
Several times on the campaign trail, Obama told voters I’m not going to take your guns away. He said it at rallies in Duryea, Pennsylvania and in Boise, Idaho. He also told a news conference that Lawful gun owners have nothing to fear…I think people can take me at my word.
Right now, said Gottlieb, I wouldn t take Obama’s word if he said it rains a lot in Seattle. Apparently, law-abiding gun owners have nothing to fear unless they own sport-utility rifles, semiautomatic shotguns, handguns and any other firearm that Obama and his anti-gun attorney general don t like.
Thanks to Eric Holder, who has been far more honest than his boss about his anti-gun philosophy, it is now clear that the new president doesn’t support the Second Amendment at all, he observed. American gun owners should remind Democrats in Congress that the Second Amendment means what it says, especially when the president doesn’t.

“In Nevada, state officials say the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team, including quarterback Tony Romo…. Nevada, along with several other key battleground states, requires no ID to vote.”
“No ID to vote?” That begs the question, other than the clumsy attempt to register members of the Dallas Cowboy football team, how many other fraudulent registrations are there in Nevada (or other states that require no ID to vote) that will not be so easily caught?
How many people will potentially travel to different polling places and vote 2, 3, 4 or even a dozen times for B. Hussein Obama?
Accusations of such rampant ‘vote-early-and-vote-often’ fraud raise even more questions.

“What does all this have to do with Obama, besides the fact that he’d be the beneficiary of most, if not all, of these new votes? For starters, Obama paid ACORN, which has endorsed him for president, $800,000 to register new voters, payments his campaign failed to accurately report. (They were disguised in his FEC disclosure as payments to a front group called Citizen Services Inc. for ‘advance work.’)”
“What’s more, Obama worked as executive director of ACORN’s voter-registration arm, Project Vote, in 1992. Joined by two other community organizers on Chicago’s South Side, Obama conducted the voter-registration drive that helped elect Carol Moseley-Braun to the Senate that year. The next year, 1993, Obama joined the civil-rights law firm Davis Miner Barnhill & Galland, where he sued the state of Illinois on behalf of ACORN to implement the federal “Motor Voter” law, which the GOP governor at the time refused to do. Then-Gov. Jim Edgar argued, presciently, that the Clinton law would invite voter fraud.”
And yet, despite all the documented evidence tying Obama to ACORN and the overwhelming stench of impropriety, B. Hussein Obama has the unmitigated gall to deny his connection to this far-left (some say socialist) organization.
On his so-called “Fight the Smears” website, B. Hussein Obama claims he is being attacked with “naked lies.” The website claims it’s just “a vile Republican pattern of mockery and viciousness” that has “absolutely no basis in fact…”
It reminds me of other infamous statements, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” or “that depends on what the meaning of is is.”

Blood Money?
Of course, it makes perfect sense that the Obama campaign is denying B. Hussein Obama’s ties to ACORN because the stench of impropriety becomes even more overwhelming!
You already know about Bill Ayers, the leader of the Weather Underground who told the New York Times in an article that was published on September 11, 2001, “I don’t regret setting bombs… I feel we didn’t do enough.”
B. Hussein Obama has continually attempted to dismiss his relationship with Ayers. Recently he told Fox Commentator Bill O’Reilly, “I know thousands of people…”
What B. Hussein Obama forgot to mention was that both he and Ayers served on the board of the Woods Foundation together. He also forgot to mention that Ayers launched his first stab at public office by hosting a ‘meet-and-greet’ for Obama in 1995.
But most importantly, what B. Hussein Obama forgot to mention is that Ayers co-founded the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) and hired B. Hussein Obama as the executive director — a position Obama maintained through 1999 before resigning and joining the board of CAC with Ayers — putting Obama in a position to dole out close to $50 million dollars in CAC grant money.
And just why is that important?
According to Stanly Kurtz with National Review:
“The community activist groups that got money from the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, like ACORN and the Developing Communities Project (part of the Gamaliel Foundation), were very radical indeed, and the personal views of Walter Annenberg don’t change that fact one iota.”
There’s the ACORN connection again.
That’s the same ACORN by the way that pressured lending institutions to making the toxic loans that are at the heart of our current financial crisis.
Here’s OneNewsNow.com quoting Stanly Kurtz:
“How did we get into this financial mess in the first place? Well, to a large degree, it’s because lenders gave mortgages to borrowers who were unqualified, who shouldn’t have been given loans in the first place. Why did they do that…. Obama at the time had his hands on the purse strings of two organizations. He was a director of the Woods Fund, and he was Chairman of the Board of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC). He gave money from both organizations to ACORN, and also provided training for ACORN workers. According to Stanley Kurtz of National Review Online, ‘ACORN succeeded in drawing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into the very policies that led to the current disaster.’ ACORN put pressure on banks by threatening them with accusations of racism if they didn’t give loans to minorities, even if they were completely unqualified.”
That stench of impropriety is actually a circle of impropriety and it would appear that B. Hussein Obama is smack dab in the middle.
As for ACORN the timing could not have been better… partially causing the financial meltdown of the greatest nation in the world AND committing massive fraud to the benefit of a candidate that graced you with financial gifts over the years… that’s called a “TWOFER!”

But the allegations of massive and wide-spread voter fraud are just the tip of the iceberg. There’s also the question of contributions to Obama’s campaign that come from foreign countries — many potentially from individuals and countries that hate the United States!

“In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign. ‘All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man,’ the Libyan leader said. ‘They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency…'”
NewsMax.com added:
“Though Gadhafi asserted that fundraising from Arab and African nations were ‘legitimate,’ the fact is that U.S. federal law bans any foreigner from donating to a U.S. election campaign.”
And other accusations of potential campaign improprieties are surfacing as well.

“In July and August, the head of the Nigeria’s stock market held a series of pro-Obama fundraisers in Lagos, Nigeria’s largest city. The events attracted local Nigerian business owners. At one event, a table for eight at one fundraising dinner went for $16,800. Nigerian press reports claimed sponsors raked in an estimated $900,000. The sponsors said the fundraisers were held to help Nigerians attend the Democratic convention in Denver. But the Nigerian press expressed skepticism of that claim, and the Nigerian public anti-fraud commission is now investigating the matter.”
Pamela Geller, who runs the Internet Blog Atlas Shrugs claims that the Obama campaign received $33,000 from the purchase of paraphernalia off the Obama website… specifically T-shirts which were then shipped to Gaza and that a pair of Palestinian brothers Hosam and Monir Edwan contributed more than $31,300 to the Obama campaign.
A few thousand here… a few thousand there… it all adds up.
In fact, according to NewsMax.com:
“The FEC has compiled a separate database of potentially questionable overseas donations that contains more than 11,500 contributions totaling $33.8 million.”

“Continuing, the group’s website states: ‘Although there is only a short period of time until the election…, there is much work to be done for supporters of Barack Obama’s candidacy. [MAFO] was formed to offer a vehicle for Muslim-Americans to mobilize quickly and effectively so that our community turns out in great numbers for Barack Obama on Election Day.’
“The ‘get out the vote’ events are scheduled at mosques in Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and Ohio.
“Robert Spencer is director of Jihad Watch, a project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center. He argues MAFO may be skirting the law.
“‘When they are running these voter registration drives at mosques, really it’s essentially illegal because they are clearly trying to get people to vote for Obama — and that’s in violation of their tax-exempt status,’ Spencer charges. ‘So this is a group that is crossing the line and ought to be disciplined as such.’
“The Jihad Watch leader, however, figures that is not likely to happen. ‘…I kind of doubt that they will be [disciplined], given the politically correct atmosphere nowadays,” he says. “I wouldn’t be the least surprised if no action is taken against them.’
“Spencer contends that if a group called ‘Christians for John McCain’ claimed to be non-partisan and ran a registration drive in churches, it would be all over the media and create a huge scandal and embarrassment for the McCain campaign.”

BELLEVUE, WA If Democrat Barack Obama truly supports gun rights and the Second Amendment, he should immediately repudiate and reject today s endorsement by the anti-gun Brady Campaign, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said.
By accepting an endorsement from the nation s leading gun ban organization, said CCRKBA Legislative Affairs Director Joe Waldron, Barack Obama would be declaring to every gun owner in America that he has lied to them all these months during the presidential campaign. If he accepts this endorsement, Obama may as well spit on the Second Amendment.
The Brady Campaign announced its endorsement Monday by noting that Obama and his running mate, anti-gun Sen. Joe Biden from Delaware, will strengthen the Brady Law, and would once again outlaw commonly-owned semi-automatic sport/utility rifles.
The Brady Campaign wants to completely eliminate certain types of firearms, Waldron noted, which is precisely the kind of thing that was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court s Heller decision in June. They claim that Barack Obama is the man who can get that done. This is hardly the kind of endorsement that will earn points among target shooters, hunters and gun collectors, who have harmed nobody and broken no laws.
But the Brady Campaign would make these people criminals on paper simply because they own certain types of firearms, he added. Their endorsement of the Obama/Biden ticket to accomplish that goal is tantamount to a home invasion robbery of every gun owner in the United States.
If Barack Obama thinks gun owners should give him their votes after this endorsement, it is an insult to their intelligence, Waldron observed. That seems to be nothing new, however, after he s had one so-called hunter s and shooter s group shilling for him on the campaign trail, to say nothing of his selection of Joe Biden as his running mate.
Obama should tell the Brady Campaign to get lost, or gun owners will say that loud and clear to him on Nov. 4, Waldron concluded.

BELLEVUE, WA ACORN, the publicly-funded national organization linked to voter fraud in several states is now actively interfering with the exercise of firearm civil rights in New Jersey, and the Second Amendment Foundation is calling for an immediate federal investigation.
ACORN has, since 1998, received an estimated $31 million in government funding, said SAF founder Alan Gottlieb. Now they have intervened in a New Jersey gun rights case in defense of an illegal Jersey City one-gun-a-month ordinance that violates the state preemption statute.
For the past few election cycles, Gottlieb noted, ACORN has clearly grown more partisan toward the political Left. ACORN S PAC has endorsed Sen. Barack Obama for president. That s hardly surprising since he used to serve as their legal counsel and he taught the group about community organizing. ACORN and Obama are lockstep in seeking to destroy our Second Amendment rights.
The organization is currently under FBI investigation over allegations of voter fraud in several states, he added. Bad enough that ACORN is implicated in fraudulent activities in several states, but now an ACORN chapter in the Garden State is working against the ability of New Jersey gun owners to exercise a constitutionally-protected individual civil right to own a handgun.
It is an outrage that this group has intervened to defend an anti-gun ordinance that has already been declared illegal by the court, he observed. So long as ACORN accepts one penny of public funding, the organization should remain absolutely neutral on social issues, political campaigns and especially legal actions defending the right to keep and bear arms.
We call upon the FBI to expand the scope of its ACORN investigation and focus on the group s involvement in the Jersey City case, Gottlieb stated. We support Ohio Congressman John Boehner s request that the White House immediately block all federal funding of ACORN activities until this group s questionable activities are fully investigated. We want to know how they are paying for attorneys, and why Seton Hall s Center for Social Justice and the Public Interest Law Center are providing legal assistance to ACORN for this effort.
This is still the United States, not a socialist gulag Gottlieb concluded. Public money should not be given to private organizations which then turn around and utilize that funding to usurp the electoral process and erode constitutionally-guaranteed civil rights.

There is no doubt that this will be the most important election in decades, maybe ever in the history of the country and it will be a very close election. So it is very important that you get out and all your family, friends and vote. Every vote could make the difference in the future of this country. Please pass this on to every one you know.
Where we are now
For the last two years the Democrats have had majority control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate under the ultra liberal control of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi from San Francisco and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid from Las Vegas.
Since they have taken over gas prices have gone to the highest they have ever been in this country. They have fought every chance to increase domestic production of oil and provide practical workable means of alternative energy.
They have been blaming President Bush for everything. Yet it is Congress that passes bills and writes them, not the President. They blame President Bush for our current economic problems but I have links to uTube with videos of the Democrats saying nothing was wrong with Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac while Senator McCain and President Bush warned they must be reformed or it would mean economic disaster which we now have. They will follow this section.
What we face
At best we face President McCain with a Democratic controlled congress.
At worst we face Senator Obama who in two years he has served has the most liberal record in the senate who makes the ultra liberal leaders of congress look like moderates. His becoming president and possibly a super Democrat majority in both houses of Congress will mean the Democrats can do ANY THING they want with out effective opposition from the Republicans. If that happens you can expect the following at minimum. These are the kinds of “CHANGE” Obama will give us.
Let the Republican’s tax cuts expire which will increase everyone’s taxes which is the last thing we need during this economic down turn.
They will increase taxes on everything including gas. They will forever ban using the resources God has blessed the United States with.
They will pull our troops out of Iraq before the country is stabilized which will then become a haven for Terrorists.
They will cut our military which President Clinton already weakened and make us weak and a target for terrorists.
Put in place liberal judges which will over turn the will of the people as they have in places like California and Massachusetts and given the homosexuals rights to marry. In the last 60 years liberal judges have taken away the right to pray in schools, in many places banned nativity scenes at Christmas. Who knows how they will further erode our first amendment rights to freely exercise our beliefs and our other freedoms.
Free speech? They will bring back the fairness act which will be the end of people bringing you the truth like Rush and Sean Hannity. Ever heard of political correctness? You haven’t seen anything yet if they control all three parts of the executive branch of government. We’ve already seen how the liberal media has tried to suppress people who tell the truth about Oboma.
You can pretty much kiss your second amendment rights to keep and bear Arms good by. You think Clinton was bad, you’ve not seen anything yet. Barack is planing to restore the Clinton gun ban and add more weapons to it, ban most hunting ammo. He thought there was nothing wrong with the DC gun ban which the Supreme court over turned and argued for keeping it. On October 13th Obomma was endorsed by the anti-gun Brady Campaign.
According to the NRA this is Barack Obama’s 10 Point Plan to “Change” The Second Amendment.
They will give upwards of 12 million illegals amnesty and rights to vote, social security and medicare. Think this is far fetched? They have already tried to do these things and the Republicans stopped them.
Socialized medical care, you want to wait 6 months to have an operation? That is what happens in other countries that have it. There will be a shortage of Doctors because there will be no motivation for anyone to become a doctor. Our medical care is messed up Because Government already mettles with it. It sets the price for Medicare payments which are under the market cost so that cost is passed on to the rest of us in the form of increased prices. We also have increased prices because the Federal Government has mandated medical are for illegals and others who do not pay.
They will take us so far down the path of socialism (which has failed and bankrupted every country is has been tired) that it will be generations before we recover the country we grew up in if we ever can again. We are already bankrupt and indebted to other countries beyond our capacity to pay. When will they stop spending?!
